iheartz's summary of Chapter 6
Spoiler:
Chapter 6:
Sculptural Transformation

After Cocoon leaves, Weed walks around the town, listening to all of the townspeoples requests, ranging from bodyguarding a family to killing more giants ants. However, Weed refuses all of them, choosing to see if there are any better quests. As he wandered around the village, he sees a boy crying, and is reminded of a boy called Moss that Cocoon told him about. Weed goes up and asks the boy what is wrong and if he can help, to which the boy just shakes his head, saying “You’re a traveler, travelers like you would have heard what happened.” Although this was a sign of rejection, Weed refused to give up, asking if the monsters around the village was the Moss’ source of grief. Moss’ eyes fill with anger at the mention of monsters, and the he asks Weed if Weed has ever hunted monsters, to which Weed replied that he had killed many different types of monsters before. Moss then pleads for help, asking Weed to save his sister. Weed then asks for more detail, and then a cutscene appears. The scene shows monsters attacking the village, and how one of the doppelgangers monsters saw Moss’ sister, Amy, and fell in “love” (?). The doppelganger than transformed into Moss’ exact shape, and attempted to drag Amy away. However, Amy then swore that she would rather bite her tongue and suicide rather than to let the doppelganger kidnapper her. In reaction to that, the doppelganger let Amy go, saying how it was bad at love anyways. However, the doppelganger also stated that it was going to come back the next Fall to take Amy. And if Amy doesn’t go with it, it’ll destroy the whole town. (Note: it also states that a Doppelganger has the ability to completely mimic a person’s physical characteristics. Furthermore, some of the ones with higher intelligence can even use magic.) Moss finishes his description by telling Weed how there were only 3 weeks/months until the promised deadline, and how he had no idea what to do. Also, he tells Weed that the Doppelganger lives in the woods to the north of the town. A quest screen then pops up in front of Weed:
“The Doppelganger:
The Doppelganger covets the beauties of the town, collecting humans that it finds aesthetically pleasing. It has laid its eyes on the beautiful Amy, and is planning to take her away. Save Amy and kill the Doppelganger.
Difficulty: C
Rewards: Unknown
Note: In order to complete this quest, Moss and Amy must be alive”

Weed then thinks about how normally, he would turn this quest down, seeing as doppelgangers were generally extremely tough monsters, with the ability to spellcast and to transform into anything it has seen before. As a result, doppelgangers are really hard to find. However, as he looked into the boy’s eyes, he was reminded of his own past, and how his parents died when he was very young, abandoning him and her sister, leaving nobody to depend on. Although he desperately wanted somebody to ask for help, there was nobody that could answer his pleas. Therefore, Weed nods and accepts the quest, to the relief of the grateful boy.

Weed then goes back to the camp where his army was busy hunting giant ants. Although some soldiers were killed, the level of every soldier has already risen by 3. As a result, the average soldier’s confidence in Weed was absolute. Weed is asked where he went, to which he relates the story of how a wicked Doppelganger is going to kill innocent villagers, take the beautiful sister of a young boy named moss, etc. Seeing as this plays on every single one of the soldier’s feelings of morality, honor, etc., the soldiers immediately agrees to help Weed, saying how Article I of the Soldier’s laws (?) states that the soldier’s duty was to protect the weak, and how protecting an innocent girl from evil definitely applied, etc. Weed then took his army and headed into the northern woods. As he approaches the woods, the sunlight gets dimmer and dimmer, eventually disappearing, and he is warned by the priests that this was desecrated ground and a cursed forest. He then calls the Death Knight Van Hawke, and order Hawke to assist him with killing the doppelgangers. Because the key doppelganger described in the quest wore the appearance of a young boy (Moss), the Knights and soldiers may hesitate when fighting against it. Van Hawke however, is willing to gladly slaughter the boy in cold blood. Eventually, Weed soon clears out most of the monsters in the cursed woods, fighting doppelgangers that turned into giant ants, strange plants, animals, and one time, even a flame monster. Weed then leaves the commanders in charge of the army, but is bombarded with “Sir! I will go anywhere for you! Etc” from the soldiers, seeing as under the command of Weed, the soldiers drastically increased their level while also remained alive. Although the soldiers didn’t contribute much during the beginning of the battles (due to their levels being too low) they quickly leveled up when fighting these immensely strong monsters. In addition, Weed expertly controlled the knights, priests, and soldiers, meaning that many soldiers had their lives saved by Weed and everybody gained experience extremely quickly. However, Weed tearfully told them that he had to do something by himself (tearfully because he has to leave his hard-earned high leveled soldiers).
He then sets off pondering the problem of the Orcs. As he thinks of Orcs, several stereotypes rise into his head, such as the orcs being a greedy and persistent species, with a strong attachment to revenge. Furthermore, they are extremely good at fighting, and have a high fertility rate which allows them to multiply like cockroaches. He then thinks back to the number of orcs and dark elves and decides that it was nearly impossible for him to assault the necromancers, even with 400 soldiers, 10 knights, and 50 priests. Furthermore, if his soldiers die, he will lose his hard earned reputation with both the Royal Family and the Church of Freya. However as he thinks about it more and more, he finds a solution. Although the enemies are numerous and strong, they are also enemies of each other. This discord between the two races brings to Weed’s mind the phrase “The enemy of my enemy is my friend.” Remembering this phrase, he feels as if the fog of uncertainty and despair has finally lifted from his thoughts, rendering his plan crystal clear. Weed then enters a cave and selects a large rock. He then goes to work with Zahab’s engraving knife, slicing away at the stone. As he works on, a form slowly appears. Unlike a statue of the beautiful Seoyun, an image of the an aggressive and greedy Orc appeared. However, Weed was worried, seeing as he didn’t understand the reasons behind the Orc’s greed (lololol) For a sculptor, a complete understanding of the subject was very important. Because Weed didn’t understand the reasons of the orc’s greed, it would not be easy to shapeshift into an orc. However, as he carved, his mind drifted to how the blacksmith had charged a whopping 5 gold for Cocoon’s shield, and how he didn’t even get a copper from completing the quest. Weeds thoughts then became something along the lines of (almost google trans): “Money! Money! Money! Money! Money! Money! The obsession over the lost 5 gold! Greed! Obsession! Craving! Desire! ARGH!!!!!” Weed’s engraving knife was carving away at the stone so fast that it blurred when he finally stopped, revealing a young, selfish looking orc, with wrinkled eyes, a pig nose, enormous muscles, scar marks, and a mouth ravenously open with desire.
“Ting!
A masterpiece! You have created the Monster Orc!
Following the normal aesthetics an artist would have never been able to create this sculpture! This sculpture was made with excellent craftsmanship.
Artistic Value 1
Options:
+5% health and mana regeneration for a day
+15% movement speed increase
-10 Intellect
-200 attraction
+20 power
+10 agility
+60 charisma
+50 Leadership

This statue can stop the tears of a crying baby (it means that its so scary that even a crying baby will shut up lol) Any enemy that looks at this statue will have their courage severely reduced.
Total Number of Completed Masterpieces: 6

-Carving skills have improved
-Reputation has risen by 46
-Fighting spirit has risen
-Charisma has increased by 3
-Stamina has increased by 3
-Resistance has increased by 5”

Although the artistic value of the art near nonexistent, Weed felt lucky that he has created such a masterpiece. He then uses the technique he learned from engraving master Darone, Shapeshifter.
He goes through the change, growing muscle and hair, becoming taller, etc. until he perfectly resembles the orc he has carved before. He then mutters to himself if he is successful and is surprised to find that his sentences now and with a “Chwiyiik” sound caused by his overly large teeth hitting each other when he tries to close his mouth. An information window that pops up, informing that Weed can no longer wear much of the equipment he had on before due to his change in size, and how his agility and strength have increase, how his intellect and wisdoms have drastically dropped, how his art stat has reduced to ½ its original, and how charisma has greatly increased. After checking his stats, Weed finds out that except for his cape and sword, he is unable to equip anything else anymore. He then sets of, walking up a mountain in search of orcs.
Then Passingbye's summary of Chapter 7
Spoiler:
Weed was very nervous as he climbed the mountain, fearing they would see through his sculpture shifting. Normally he would be overflowing with confidence as to if he could defeat the orcs but that would be for normal orcs. In Rojaim kingdom the average level for the orcs went from 80 to 130. If the orcs were among those levels he might be able to escape in case he was discovered. However, these were the strong orcs from the plains of despair. Even monsters that are classified as weak such as goblins or kobolds have different battle capabilities according to the environment where they live. These orcs had to struggle to survive since the moment of birth and face strong monsters in battle, making them stronger than your average orc (around level 210). With their great numbers, being discovered could be disastrous as being brutally murdered by a herd of orcs was not something he would ever want to experience.
Weed heard orcs screaming and headed in that direction to see what was happening. There he could see a group of orcs engaging in battle with a Fire Giant (a giant centipede-like monster with level above 280 and pretty common in the plains of dispair). Weed decided to wait until the end of the battle so that he could finish off the last standing and get the loot from both parties. The orcs started to die one by one but as he was staring he remembered that he was supposed to be an orc and they would never just stare while their brethren is killed so he dove onto battle. Weed picked up a rusty glaive from the floor (for those who don’t know a glaive is an European polearm weapon consisting on a single-edged blade at the end of a pole, similar to a Japanese naginata. It seems it is also the orcs preferred weapon as their warriors use it and so does weed while transformed), jumped off from his observation point (looking awesome with his cape moved by the wind) and fell over the Giant. The centipede recognized the threat immediately and tried to kill him with a combination of thrusts and its fire-breath. Weed jumped over the thrust and ran right until he reached the head of the centipede and used his sculpting blade on it, losing his mana quickly since his knowledge and wisdom were greatly reduced as a side effect of his transformation, reducing his maximum of mana. However, since he also gained strength, the damage of the attack was improved. The giant shook its head trying to drop Weed but he grabbed one of its antennas and, since he learnt fencing for a year, Weed could easily adjust his center of gravity, allowing him to remain on balance and keep attacking the oversized bug. Meanwhile, realizing that the mysterious orc (Weed) had come to help, the remaining orcs all attacked the centipede. Since it couldn't withstand the combined attack of the orcs and weed the monster died and weed leveled up and (speculation) gained a little fame by helping in the giant hunt (end speculation). Weed then proceeded to grab the loot (Deungkkeopdegineun), a material item that can be used after processed to make armors of lighter and hard steel but it was usually hard to get much of the material.
The orcs then flocked to where Weed was and thanked him for saving them. Since they were both greedy and liked to fight, Weed and the orcs were very much alike, so he didn't have trouble pretending to be an orc:

Weed: Chwiyiik. Have trouble fighting this guy? Chwiit, then you should call me. Me likes fighting. Chwichwichwiit Jewelry and items I like more.
Orc: Chwiyiyi. We admit it. You champion. You proud Orc Warrior. but it's first time I see your face. Where do you come from?
Weed: I do not know. Ah-choo! (With sadness on his eyes, weed looked far away from the plains. His eyes were clouded, seemingly being close to be burned to death just a moments before was now like a distant memory) My mother and I left for the mountains before I was one year old. Chwit! And now I am back to live on the plains. Chwiyiik! What happened in between, please ask me no more.
Orc: Ok, chwiik, let's hunt some more.
Weed: I'm up for it.

Thus Weed joined the group of orcs. After spending the day hunting the orcs invite Weed to their village, claiming that they were now family and since weed was a great champion everyone would love him. Weed accepts the invitation and follows them to the village, where there are more than 1000 houses with 10 orcs per house, showing the great fertility of the orcs. When about to enter the village Weed is stopped by a scary, evil looking orc guard who doesn't want to let him pass unless he reveals his name. Weed tried to say his name was Kari but because of the orc noises he did he was misunderstood for Karichwi which became his name among the orcs.
While passing by the village's plaza Weed notices that every single orc is trying to sell items. However since they all want to become rich very fast and have no idea about prices they all try to sell items at ludicrous prices like 50, 60 or 150 THOUSAND gold. When Weed asks one of his companions about this the orc tells him that he never saw any item actually being sold in the square and that they were all fools for selling at those prices. When weed praises the orc for this, it answers that he doesn´t sell his items but he would do so for 2 millions leaving weed speechless at their stupidity.
Weed then starts living among the orcs suffering due to their taste in food (barley bread for everyone!) and their female counter parts who not only are hideous (orcs like bulky women, with teeth ticker than rabbits and lot of muscle mass) but also like strong men... like Weed. Because of this, Weed spend most of the time protecting his chastity by avoidin females at all cost.

The point of view changes to that of Yoon jung Heen (She went to Hyun Lee’s school and met him again during his sister’s school festival)who connects to play Royal Road every night with her sister (three years younger than her)as a mage/sumonner?.(speculation) While taking a break from hunting the sisters start to chat about said festival, the younger sister teasing the older one about how went to the festival because she knew Hyun would be there and insists on it until she admits she is interested on him (end speculation)

The point of view changes again to that of a man who is on a pub in real life. The man is questioned by a woman about his occupation and he tells her he is the heir of a small company. The woman becomes interested in him after hearing this and the man easily obtains her contact information even though he is not really interested in her. He leaves the pub with the woman but then he starts to muse to himself about how his life was planned since he was born, not really living it and moving through it like a robot until he started playing Royal Road. There he became a fisherman and spent his days fishing without interacting with anyone (since he really liked it). One day though, a man named Weed had appeared wanting to learn how to fish. He became his friend and their fishing competitions were some of the fondest memories he had, and had even battled with him in the siege of fort odhein and they hunted together in the dungeons of Basra (in the first hunting party he had ever participated). Realizing that he finds playing Royal Road more interesting than being with the woman he ditches her and goes home to play. His ingame name is Zephir.

The point of view changes YET AGAIN to the one of a singer called Lynn in her debut concert (kind of confusing at first since the paragraph starts with her song without telling you)in her debut concert. There the public goes wild due to the combination of her great voice and seductive dancing moves. After the concert she connects to royal road to what she thinks is her REAL stage. Lynn’s proffesion in Royal road is a dancer, which she chose over bard since she wanted to move around and thought it would be livelier to fight the monsters as one. Luckily for her, nobody recognized her in RR since she had downplayed her looks. She then connected to the game.

The chapter continues showing us a peep of what Weed’s friends do ingame.
Zephir and Hwaryeong, Mapan, Pale, Surka, Romunya; Irene and Mei Run. They had all been abused and forced into slave labor by Weed during the construction of the pyramid but now it was completed and they were free! Together they formed a hunting party. Many of their jobs were not suited for battle if you take into account that they didn’t have any Warrior or paladin their attack was somewhat lacking, however, with their variety of professions they somehow managed. The direct combat was handled by Zephir (who as a fisherman had unusually high life) and Surka who as a monk had plenty close range skills. If the monsters were too many then Hwaryeong would join in, distracting the monsters with her dancing skills. The long distance attacks were handled by the ranger Mei Run, the Archer Pale and the mage Romunya, being quite effective. Irene used her divine magic to bless her allies, increasing their physical fitness and decreasing the one from their enemies. Finally, Mapan, as a merchant, had learned the skill Hand of Fortune, which increased the droping rates for gold and items of nearby monsters. In addition he allowed them to immediately dispose the items they got by trading them. Nobody was useless in their group. They were discussing were to go next and decide to go the Lake of spirits which had some quests and supposedly had hidden treasures and dungeons. At first Pale is reluctant to doing so since they were butchered by the monsters there once when they were level 130 but since they grew stronger since then they decide to try them anyway.

Finally the chapter ends with Hyeyeon receiving an acceptance letter from the university telling her she got full scholarship. She wanted her brother to go to university but she had no idea how to get him to do the interview part of his application since if he finds out she doesn’t need the college funds he is gathering he would rather keep them to himself instead of using them to further his education.

It was 14. It's probably very hard to do. I wouldn't want to do it either :S, I have a hard time reading up to volume 7 or something...

But thank you for posting 14. You're probably working on 15 right now.

Chapter 8 from JCafe

Post  Grisia on Mon Oct 31, 2011 5:18 pm

Chancs's edit of Chapter 8
Spoiler:
Chapter 8 : Ork war

"Chwiyiik!"

Weed joined the Ork and but is worried.

"I really could’nt get through with Orks."

Being human, Weed found it very difficult to get along with the Orks.

Although adaptation to a bunch of Orks is one thing, but to increase your level of intimacy is a problem.

Orcs, like humans, or co-workers regarded to ought to get in and settle rather than avoid (speculating) difficult situations (end speculation).

“It's not as easy as I thought” thought Weed.

Carrying a weapon, the leader (Gaedolgyeokyiraneun ?) of Orks blindly and recklessly rushes ahead challenging anyone.

"You eat it. Chwiik! " , Weed offered the food to the Ork.

Even if you are hell like greedy, you're gonna be the preferred Oak.

Weed, however, is fully aware with the class of the Orks and to recruit him was impossible to do.

First, a group of Oak in the discipline, and there was strong.

Common Orcs, Orcs and Orc scouts projected.

The key to the euro among the lower tier of the mountains belonged to the Oak who were apparently being the most dominant class, but apart from them there was Ork Warrior, Ork Captain, and Ork Elder.

Orc warriors out of 100 people attended a small gang headed.
Karichwi, he was born in our town is not the oak. Chwiik! " (introducing), and so a discussion starts.

"He eats less than we do. ! " comparing the appetite.

"Carry-free shops (speculating) crazy warriors (end speculation) are too handsome . Chwiyiit! " jealousy from appearance!

"Chwichwichi. Female Orcs, chwiik. Must obey. "

Eventually all of the problems is due to the female Orcs.

Envy and jealousy!

"Ah...shit” thought Oak “chwiyiyiik! Why the world don’t leave anyone but me."sighed Weed. “Why does God leave me alone! Why is it such a damn trials are gonna be so hopeless.”

Lamenting his problems Weed suddenly found a solution, especially from those interested in female orks.

"! I do not like females. Keep it you all. Chwiik! "

Then the males were even more indignant.
". Cheokyida full strut. " (speculating) how dare you (end speculating)

"Let's expel him from the village! Chichwit! "

Weed recognised the hint of threat in that line.

Orc Warrior and Orc captain in the town of hated Weed, but there were many orks who followed him.

"Character is the enemy too! Chwiyiyiit! Orcs respectable. Chwiik! "
"Chwichwichwiyiit! Good fight. "
"Pussy and chwiik. Wenmanhaeseon not think I'll die. "

Weed attended the hunt with the common ork and participated in many battles in the town. ‘Wooroseu minota’ was the main catch with level of 300 originally higher then Weed’s. As such Weed was sandwiched in the hunt. Weed added strength of the hand holding the Glaive.

"This will be a lovely experience.”

Fighting a wooroseu minota was quite demanding. They wield a bloody axe and have higher health thus a similar level of damage is much stronger than other monsters. Also they are more agile then other monsters and thus can’t be caught. In business law, just as people do not like the guests, all the monsters are welcomed (?).

The sales experience!

Earnings items!

And again the most profitable – revenue growth, with the items that can earn cash.

"This filthy Orcs!"

Looking at the oak, Wooroseu minota did not hold back even a little.

"Ork, hey, I'm going to kill you!"

Doo-doo-doo-doo! (footsteps...running)

The ax at the waist was moving back and forth menacingly.

"Chwiyiyiyiik!”. Weed immediately jumped back holding Glaive 10 mtrs in the sky and swooped over it.

"Cancel! This! Profit! "

Weed and wooroseu minota clased with the axe taking the beating and pushing Glaive.

Kuwooung! (clashing)

The Glaive was stopped in its path. Although Glaive sword is similar there is a big difference. Since Glaive is wide and heavy enough, wielding had to be done much in a different way. Stab attack was not effective. These are strong enough to be recognising as a destructive gap.
Whenever the axe of minota wooroseu and Glaive met, the flame springs. The usual rusty Glaive would have shattered and had to be tossed but due to pre-writing skills, sword Glaive still shone sharply.

"Chwiyiyiik!"

That was the end of minota wooroseu.

Glaive of hundreds of orcs were in air and waved wildly when minota wooroseu was hacked.

Since then, a full-fledged hunting began.

A huge crowd of hundreds of orks clashed with monsters. In the process, many/countless swords fell but stronger ones (orks) prevailed. As a result the level of orks rose. The threat of a terrible monster in Ork road/area was eradicated due to their high fertility rate. When 1000 young adults died, the orks quickly learn its place. Simply as with his co-workers in the past, Weed did not need to do anything. He simply repair weapons, prepares food, washes dishes and bandage the wounded.

Ignorance of the simple ork

Ork tactics could be different. The situation depends on numbers. If the number does not go to 10 with 100 to follow, the whole tribe will not even stir.
Fighting spirit of orks is high but wisdom and knowledge is low!.

Weed with his extraordinary leadership and charisma had the ability to rule the Orcs. However, growth is not the same with others. Growth is based on the ability to fight as hard to put charisma and leadership which thankfully led to the Orcs come in handy.

Weed receives the respect of the Ork after hunting.
Not very clear but better than the google translated stuff.

Uahrgh!
Namorax looses 43 HP!
Intelligence is reduced by 3!

Nothing against Chanc, but this reads like Googletranslator v1.5.
After the first few sentences I had to stop reading, because its very hard to follow half a story without missunderstanding something. I really hope the team gets back on its feet and releases new chapters. It doesnt have to be today or next week, but around christmas would be nice... Wink
