The following page has been updated: http://www.oddsquad.org/2010/01/irc.html

Your problem can be solved by reading the section "Common Mistakes/ Issues"

Ask any computer related question in the search box of "Google.com" and you will get your answer immediately.

Which browser do you use?

If Firefox, do you use the addon NoScript?

Do you really see NOTHING changing? Check attentively, and tell if you see or not the red-brown 'Naver Reader' popping at the top-right of the blurb, within the Cheese page.

"Missing Images" when running the script

Post  Saa on Sun Sep 22, 2013 9:49 pm

Hello, I'm currently reading through CITT, and I got to chapter 45 without any problems until now. Whenever I run the script, whether from the bookmark or a plugin, it doesn't translate the pages and says that there are x amount of missing images.

I've tried Chrome, Firefox, and IE all with the same results. I even tried it on another computer, and had the same problem. I wondered if the sever was down, but according to the website, it's up and running without problems. I also couldn't find any posts regarding this issue happening before. I tried deleting the cache, and even the feed and bookmark, but nothing changed.

Any ideas? Thank you very much in advance for your time.

I detect no problem here, if there was one it was maybe google who was temporarily down.

Do you still have the problem?

Hello there,

I'm sure you all must be sick of hearing this however I'm having issues with the Naver Translate thingy. I used to read CITT from it without any issue, however apparently there has been some sort of change from what I can gather? Anyways, whenever I press the bookmark as i used to, I do see a change from Korean to English in the average rating place, however, the actual text of the webtoon either loads really slowly, and that was only for one chapter yesterday, but for most chapters, it doesn't load at all. Any help would be really appreciated, I was excited to show my friend this place, but now all of a sudden it's not working for either of us on either of our computers.

here's the screenshot

Thank you for your intput,

I was told chapters 1-39 are broken, so I'll see why (it's the ones we split, so I suppose there's an error in the code related to the split ^^).
I'll repost a message once it's fixed.

fixed

open this in the browser and refresh it, it will clear the buggy old code and refresh it to the latest version.

Hello I am having problems reading Chapter 48. All of the other chapters are working and I have tried uninstalling mozilla and re-installing the programs and every other chapter works except Chapter 48 and the special and Chapter 49. Thank you for all your work!

If you use Firefox, go to chapter 48, then open the network console (menu > web developement > network).
Once the network console is open, click on the bookmark, and please tell me what is happening then.

Also, do you have NoScript installed?

I didn't have problems viewing the translated CITT. Well, not until last month. Whenever I click the Bookmark Naver Translate the translation gets messed up. Crying or Very sad  I don't know what to do. I followed the instructions but still the same. Crying or Very sad

Hi, I just picked up CITT, and I've read up till S2C48, and everything was working, but it doesn't translate past S2C48. The chapter has already been translated, but it doesn't seem to be working on my computer. I've removed the feed, and re-installed it, but it still doesn't work. Please help me! Out of curiosity, what changed with the new chapters of CITT?
I'm definitely not trying to be pushy here, just curious from a software developers perspective. Wink
Thanks again for all your hard work!! Very Happy

Edit: also huh. Dice rolls.

What has changed is the images are crypted and encapsulated in flash, and the old plugin doesn't recognize the flash content ^^

But since I do not like flash, it was a quickie solution, I did not want to release a "new" plugin because I knew I'd have to release another right after anyway (so it would be asking people to update too often).

Makes sense

Post  joshery420 on Tue Oct 22, 2013 10:07 am

Alright, yea that makes sense to me.
Darn Flash. -_-
Will a new plugin be released eventually, or should I just plan on using the bookmark from now on?

A new plugin will be released,

probably within two weeks.
it takes care of pages like that

http://comic.naver.com/webtoon/detail.nhn?titleId=186811 (a naver chapter)
http://comic.naver.com/webtoon/list.nhn?titleId=186811&page=1 (chapter list)
http://comic.naver.com/webtoon/weekday.nhn (whole list of ongoing webtoons)
http://comic.naver.com/webtoon/finish.nhn (whole list of finished webtoons)
http://comic.naver.com/webtoon/period.nhn (and other lists aswell)

http://m.comic.naver.com/webtoon/detail.nhn?titleId=186811 (mobile counterparts)
http://m.comic.naver.com/webtoon/list.nhn?titleId=186811&page=1
http://m.comic.naver.com/webtoon/weekday.nhn
...

http://nid.naver.com/nidlogin.login?mode=form (naver login)
(and various registration process)

http://cartoon.media.daum.net/webtoon/viewer/14746 (a daum chapter)
http://cartoon.media.daum.net/webtoon/view/blackbehemoth (chapter list)
http://cartoon.media.daum.net/webtoon/#mon (ongoing webtoons)
But I don't master Daum quite yet, some things I don't understand still =)

and it doesn't use flash.
